Over Mobility Package, Smart Tacho en wintertijd….
Vanmorgen mocht ik sinds lange tijd een nascholingscursus verzorgen over het onderwerp ‘digitale tachograaf’. En ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik met een schuin oog de de ‘autoriteiten’ op dit gebied wel wat gevolgd heb in de afgelopen maanden. Immers, als opleider krijg je maar een paar uur de tijd om je cursisten hier over bij te praten en wie mij kent weet dat ik ook als -niet schaatser- graag goed beslagen ten ijs kom. Door de stof bovenmatig te beheersen kan je tijdens de cursus iedere gewenste kant op en blijf je niet hangen in stokpaardjes, durf je ook buiten de platgetreden paden te gaan. En ik zal er meteen helder over zijn: ik heb een hekel aan stokpaardjes en gebaande paden in de nascholingsbranche. Als jij als docent niet verder komt dan het weer een keer delen van je lang geleden opgedane ‘kennis’ dan ben ik al vrij snel met m’n gedachte ergens anders. Nee, ga nou eens in op wat er werkelijk leeft bij de cursisten, welke problemen komen zij tegen en gebruik dat als kapstok om je kennis te delen en ze verder te helpen.
De lat lag hoog, temeer daar ik in de afgelopen week een 2-tal situaties langs zag komen van nascholingscursussen die niet klopten. De eerste was een post op LinkedIn van een enthousiaste (en vast ook zeer bekwame) code-95 docent waarvan de inhoud door collega’s uit zijn branche (ik laat in het midden waar het exact omging) direct afgeschoten werd als niet meer correct. Richtlijnen waren veranderd en wat er hier getoond werd klopte simpelweg al een aantal jaar niet meer. Oeps, het zal je maar gebeuren.
De tweede betrof een touringcarchauffeur die na een dag nascholing digitale tachograaf terugkwam op de zaak en hetgeen hij geleerd had die dag trots deelde: dankzij het mobility package mag je vanaf nu als je uren op zijn nog gewoon 2 uur doorrijden om je thuisbasis te halen. Dat klinkt natuurlijk te mooi om waar te zijn en we weten allemaal dat als iets te mooi klinkt om waar te zijn…… Hoewel ik er van uit ga dat de docent van dit opleidingsinstituut het vast niet zo uitgelegd heeft is het wel op deze manier bij de chauffeur aangekomen en blijven hangen. Kortom, ik had weer voldoende motivatie voor de invulling van deze nascholingscursus.
Het gezelschap in de coronaproof omgeving waar ik de cursus mocht verzorgen was uiterst gemêleerd; van de gepensioneerde vrachtwagenchauffeur via de planner en de beroepschauffeur tot de meer hobbymatige rijder, ze waren er allemaal. En de tijd vloog! Want allen hadden ze uit oprechte interesse in het onderwerp legio voorbeeldsituaties waarvan ze graag wilden weten of ze het goed deden. Om vervolgens samen te kijken naar op welke wijze het dan wel moet….. ;-) Want her en der ging er onbedoeld toch echt nog wel wat mis wat vrij eenvoudig anders kon. Bijvoorbeeld je pauze net even een half uurtje eerder plannen om niet in conflict te komen met je 4,5 uur rijtijd of de ontbrekende tijd op je pas bij aanvang van de volgende dienst handmatig invoeren. Tot levendige discussie leidde het waar het ging om de keuzes die we als beroepschauffeur of planner maken aangaande rij- en rusttijden. Pak je nu wel of niet een hotel voor of na een dienst van 21 uur waarbij er sprake is van een aan- of afvoer. (Natuurlijk wel doen!) En neem je als je de tachograaf op rust zet ook werkelijk rust of ga je aan de slag met overige werkzaamheden? Heel herkenbaar, maar goed om eens met elkaar over te spreken en de voors en tegens er van langs te gaan.
Nascholing code 95, aan het begin van een bijeenkomst daag ik de aanwezige mopperaar altijd een beetje uit. Code 95? Onzin toch? Na afloop klinkt er vervolgens in de wandelgangen dat het toch wel interessant was. En dan ben ik weer waar ik wezen wil. Op naar de volgende nascholingscursus!
Ps: oh ja, vanavond gaat de wintertijd in. Zoals je weet staat de tachograaf intern altijd op UTC-tijd. Daar hoef je niets mee te doen. De klok in je display kan je in het menu wel handmatig verzetten. We slapen vannacht een uurtje langer dus de klok mag na vannacht een uurtje terug.
